Summer Camp Program
Our Summer Camp Programs offer you a unique opportunity for participants to work with children from ages 6-16. Camp is available to both students (supporting staff) and non-students (camp counselors). There are different camps to choose from Sports, Arts, Academics, Special Needs, Religious and many others. Camps are located in the United States. It also exposes participants to a different, culture, while gaining memorable experience which will enhance their resume and character.
Participants are allowed to participate for a minimum period of nine (9) weeks and at the end of their assignment travel the country. The program usually runs from May-August.
Eligibility
Participants must provide proof that they are:
- At least 18 years old
- Able to speak English well
- Flexible, adaptable, open-minded, and hardworking
- Must have a genuine love for and enjoy working around children
- Have strong leadership skills
Registration Steps
- Pay a non-refundable/non-transferable registration fee
- Pay a non-refundable/non-transferable commitment fee
- Register Online
- Submit a color copy of your school ID card and Status Letter
- Submit a copy of your Resume
- Submit a color copy of the information pages of your passport
- Submit two (2) passport size pictures
- Copy of Police Record
- Medical Report (upon request)
- Official school transcript (by March each year if you are a student)
- Submit 2 references (Forms are Online)
Program Fees Include
- Guaranteed work placement secured prior to arrival (except for self-arranged participants)
- Hourly Wage or Stipend
- Paperwork coordination for J-1 Visa Documentation
- Health/Travel Insurance for the duration of the program
- Pre-departure and post-arrival orientation to the United States
- Housing Assistance
- SEVIS fee
- 24/7 personal support
- Detailed participant handbook that contains all information relating to the program
Program fees does NOT include:
- Visa application/processing fees at the U.S. Consulate/Embassy
- Round trip airfare
- Airport transfers
- Transportation expenses
- Any daily living expenses including rent, utilities, furnishings, meals etc.
- Any expenses at the place of employment
SELF-ARRANGED JOBS
Applicants who have arranged their own jobs in the United States must submit a written offer of employment or fill out a sponsor employment form. An official employment offer must be on company letterhead and must clearly state the following:
- Company name, contact address phone number, and fax number
- Contact name and e-mail
- Job start and end date
- Pay rate
- Housing description
N.B Any falsified, forged, or fabricated job offers will be rejected without refund.
